Fountain of Power

Fascinated I was with the first sight of- 

the fountain of Geneve lake.. 

It was a day.. sunny..  lazy..  

but the strong fountain kept my soul awake! 

So tall against the line of sky.. 

Back straight ! Chin up ! 

 

The wind blew hard.. Tears splashed a mile.. 

But still stood she, never gave up ! 

I was charmed by her determined power 

and decided at once to follow her 

to be fearless, be firm, confidently go- 

on completing dreams for Amateur Radio 

to stand against wind of tattle talk. 

I will not be down.  I will firmly walk !! 

..Suddenly astounded, seeing in her tears- 

A rainbow showed.. so daring, so dear.. 

 

You my sign of brave, the strength you gave..

..filled my will-power 

May I stand like you.. may I smile like you..  

..my statue of wonder! 

Blessed you be with me forever..
